Narc Kenya has started its grassroots polls across the country ahead of the 2012 General elections. the Paryt has embarked on recruiting members from the Branch, County and National Level for the purpose of strengthening the Party.
The exercise has already kicked off in some counties and Branches. in Baringo County recruitment of new members is ongoing, while in Nakuru County the elections of Party officials has already been conducted and its going to be led by former Naivasha MP. Jayne Kihara as the local Chairperson, while former Rongai MP Alicen Chelaite was elected as the Party Treasurer, Joseph Omondi was elected Secretary General and the Youth leader elected is Vitalis Kahendah.
Tomorrow the Party will also be conducting elections for Machakos County in Kangundo with the aim of electing officials who will represent the Party in that County.
Elsewhere the Party Candidates in the upcoming by-elections in Kirinyaga Central and Various Civic wards across the country are submitting their nominations papers tomorrow to the Interim Electoral Commission (IIEC) as the exercise will be coming to a conclusion this Friday.
